(I am proud that the title and theme of the congress have been inspired by my book Cultivating Mindfulness to Raise Children Who Thrive: Why Human Connection from Before Birth Matters (Routledge, 2021), and field-studies of African indigenous cultures, in particular the Himba, and growing interest in Australian First Nation People's wisdom. This is the first book to marry prenatal sciences, the human-earth connection and life sustainability, creating a new paradigm of Health and Wellbeing. I feel honoured to be a partner of the Prenatal Sciences Partnership, as thanks to this cooperative force this seminal work is reaching out and involving countries from all over the world, gathering for the first time at this unprecedented global event.
